Picture this: It’s Evo Championship Sunday. As you walk through the entrance to the arena, you’re greeted by a sea of nearly 10,000 fellow fighting game enthusiasts in the crowd. The venue is buzzing with anticipation as the stage is set for the first featured game.

Thousands of players spent the weekend competing in their games of choice for a chance to make it to the big stage. Now, six of the strongest competitors for each of the four Sunday titles are gearing up to make their run at the championship. You find a seat as the lights come down and all eyes turn to the screens in the center of the arena. It’s time.

Nothing compares to the feeling of watching the finals of a major fighting game tournament in-person. From the energy of the crowd to the grandeur of the arena, there is something special about being there live to witness all of the big moments for yourself.

Championship finals for Evo 2023 will be held on Sunday, August 6th at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Tickets are available through the Evo website on their own or as part of a 3-day Finals Bundle, which grants spectator access to the convention center on Friday and Saturday along with tickets for the arena on Sunday. The featured games will be decided based on the number of competitors, with the top four games by entrant count getting a Sunday spot and the other four games concluding in the convention center on Friday or Saturday.

If you would like to register for Evo 2023 as a competitor, the deadline to sign up is Sunday, July 9th. Arena tickets and spectator passes will be available up until the weekend of the event, with on-site tickets available at the door while supplies last. Please keep in mind that registration for the tournament does not give you access to the arena on Sunday, and competitors will still be required to purchase their arena tickets separately. If you’re interested in attending, we recommend that you buy your arena tickets as soon as possible, as there is a high probability that they will sell out before the event.
